The New Balance 990v3 Made in USA ‘Black’ showcases traditional mesh and pigskin suede construction on the lifestyle runner originally released in 2012. The sneaker’s monochrome black finish is disrupted by reflective grey accents on the ‘N’ logo and a synthetic leather heel tab inscribed with ‘Made in USA’ branding. Atop the tongue, ‘New Balance’ is embossed in contrast red lettering. Lightweight cushioning comes courtesy of an ENCAP midsole, comprising a soft foam core and a durable polyurethane carrier.
